More Than a Game: Znaniye’s Young Explorers Take Over Brentford FC! ⚽🐝

29 October 2026 | Community, Sport & Learning

From the dressing rooms to the press conference hot seat, our young explorers discovered that football is about much more than 90 minutes on the pitch!

Move over, Premier League stars. There’s a new squad in town!

This half-term, children from different local schools came together with Znaniye Foundation for an exciting behind-the-scenes adventure at Brentford Football Club’s Gtech Community Stadium.

Thanks to the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust team, our young visitors explored the players’ changing rooms, press conference room, sensory room and stadium, enjoying a special glimpse into the world of professional football.

The press conference room was a particular hit — with microphones ready and plenty of confident faces, we may have discovered a few future football managers or sports journalists!

The excitement continued when the children met Marcus Gayle, former Brentford FC player and Club Ambassador, making the experience even more memorable.

Different schools. One community.

At Znaniye Foundation, we believe learning goes far beyond the classroom. Bringing children from different local schools together creates opportunities to build friendships, discover new interests and grow in confidence.

Whether football fans or simply curious explorers, every child had something to enjoy. And that’s what makes experiences like this so special — creating connections, encouraging inclusion and making lasting memories.

A winning team deserves a big thank you! 🐝

A huge thank you to Brentford FC Community Sports Trust for delivering such a fantastic tour and to Marcus Gayle for meeting our young visitors.

Special thanks also go to Xavi & Co for helping connect Znaniye Foundation with the Club and making this wonderful opportunity possible.

It’s a brilliant example of how local businesses, sports clubs and community organisations can work together to open doors for children.

The final score? A big win for friendship, inclusion and community!
