The Programme
Whilst Znaniye Foundation has been a part of the HAF programme for over 1.5 years now, this was the first time we have run the Winter Offering with the Ealing Council! The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) is funded by the department of education and works to ensure that for a minimum of 1 week in Spring (Easter Holidays), 1 week in Winter (Christmas Holidays), and 4 weeks in the Summer, children on benefits related free school meals are able to access free provisions, that provide activities and food.
Znaniye Foundations' goal through our offerings is to ensure that local children are provided with access to safe and reliable sessions, that work to improve and/or maintain their physical, emotional and social well-being whilst out of school. We do this through an ever-changing range of activities, such as arts and crafts, sports, educationally led sessions, cooking, games and more.
The Activites
Over the 19th and 20th of December 2022, from 9am - 1pm, we held 3 rotating activities per day that are tailored to the 3 age groups (5-6, 7-8, 9+) that we welcome.
These included:
Making and sculpting Salt Dough designs
Decorating Biscuits
Dance Lessons and Performance
Creating Wool Toys
Painting Decorations and Plaques
Baking Jam Tarts
Alongside the planned stimulating and interactive activities planned and run by our expert staff each day, the children also enjoy free play time, both indoors and outdoors, and assist the team in cooking, preparing and serving the fresh healthy lunch each day!

We are proud to run all of the HAF yearly programmes - these are up to a week in Spring (Easter Holidays), up to a week in Winter (Christmas Holidays), and up to 4 weeks in the Summer.
