In this English session, we will look at 'The Battle' in Macbeth. We will look at how Macbeth handles the coming storm as he hears about a planned invasion on his castle.

• Explore how the king’s men have fled and are starting to learn of Macbeth’s true nature
• Analyse the importance of Macbeth’s inner conflict and corruption
• Explore Macbeth’s return to the Witches to gain more insight into his future
• Analyse the importance of the Macduff family’s murder and what this says about Macbeth
