English for Ages 11-13 / KS3 at 4:30PM

In this 4th session - part of a 10 session course every week, KS3 course on Romeo & Juliet - we will be meeting Juliet. 

Students will be introduced to Juliet and make judgments on her character.

• Discuss how Juliet is first introduced (via her father)

• Discuss the importance of “The Male Gaze”

• Explore the theme of gender in this scene

• Examine the use of language by the men in Juliet’s life
